Head of Legal

Own and build the legal function from first principles, with primary focus on commercial contracting, risk allocation and governance. Protect the business structurally while enabling disciplined commercial growth.

• —Lead drafting, negotiation and execution of all commercial contracts including sponsorship, venue agreements and partnerships
• —Design scalable contract templates and playbooks aligned to XENOM's global operating model
• —Identify, assess and mitigate commercial, operational and regulatory risk across all jurisdictions
• —Oversee corporate governance requirements across US, UK and European entities
• —Protect XENOM's intellectual property including trademarks, scoring systems and event formats
• —Design and oversee athlete waivers, participation agreements and liability frameworks
• —Select and manage external law firms across relevant jurisdictions

• —Senior legal experience within live events, sport, media or high-growth international businesses
• —Strong commercial contracting expertise with demonstrated negotiation leadership
• —Experience managing cross-border legal frameworks across US, UK and EU jurisdictions
• —Familiarity with corporate governance, equity transactions and investor documentation

• —Commercially pragmatic with strong risk judgment
• —Structured and disciplined in contract architecture and governance processes
• —Clear communicator capable of translating legal complexity into operational clarity
• —High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive corporate matters
